So I have this report that works fine on the desktop app:
But when I publish it online and want to use the report online I get this screen:
When I click on "details" it show the following
Which is strange because in the app there absolutely no error message

We don't have Premium but would like to share a report with another organisation who does - do the individuals/consumers in that organisation still need to have Pro licences to view the content even though they have Premium?

since a few weeks when I publish a report on my organization website (that get the report from a Power BI Embedded platform) the filter panel remains visible at the website users despite in Power BI Desktop I have disabled this option ticking the eye button. Even looking at the report directly in the Power BI platform I can see that this option is correctly disabled.
How can I solve this problem?
My Power BI Desktop version is: 2.82.5858.961 64-bit (June 2020)

I was wondering what the best process was for looking after the Gateway recovery key? I was thinking about the Azure Key vault? Has any one got any best practices for this. if you rely on someone to simply look after it, that recovery key is going to dissapear pretty quickly

Hello everybody, I'll explain my problem.
I have a report with tables of API REST as a source. If I refresh the report in PowerBI Desktop, the data are correct (all the data from 2018 to 2020)
I upload the report to powerBI Service, configure the gateway and click refresh manually. OK. the data are correct too.
The problem is, when I configure a daily scheduled refresh, when it finishes, the data are INCORRECT, it brings me only the data from 2018.
Extra information: This report have been refreshed from 2018 to now.
So, my question is: Is a cache in powerBI Service that make me going crazy? It does not have sense.
I tried deleting and upload again the dataset (and has another ID) or changing the report and dataset's names. Nothing work.
Any ideas?

We already have several workspaces with multiple reports, dashboards and apps.
Not all users have access to every workspace/report/dashboard/app.
We would like to check regularly or the permissions are correct, so we need an overview of all users and their permissions or all workspaces/reports/dashboards/apps with the users that have permission.
Is it possible to get such overview without having to check all the rights manually?

I have been trying the new DeployPipelines to improve deployment strategy.
And I ran into a limitation I don't seem to overcome.
I want to be able to set up my Deployment scenario like this:
- Setup a pipeline like Dev, Stage, Prod where is start from Prod and deploy to previous stages because Prod is already available, shared and RLS roles are already assigned to users
- Store my pbix-files in OneDrive (to have at least some version history)
- Publish my (existing) Reports in 'Dev' from OneDrive by using "Get Data" in app.powerbi.com and select my pbix-file from OneDrive (replacing the ones that came from Prod)
- Deploy to Stage and Prod
However, when I publish an already available report+dataset from OneDrive to the Dev-workspace I get a duplicate in the Dev-workspace, even when the name is excactly the same as the one that's in the workspace. I also tried to leave the Dev workspace empty and Published the report+dataset but than the compare shows "new" items in stead of "changed" ones. I really don't want to re-share the reports and/or hand out all the RLS roles again.
Any ideas how to accomplish this?

I have a .pbix file which fetches data from a shared mailbox using built int Exchange online connector. The refresh works completely fine on Power BI desktop. However , while configuring the credentials for Scheduled refresh, i see the below error.
Exhange Online Connector (Authenticated via Microsoft Account) -- PBI desktop -- works fine.
OAuth2 Authentication in PBI service -- tried all privacy modes -- doesnt work.
Any idea , how to resolve this issue ?

I have a PBI gateway in personal mode on a corporate Virtual Machine. After I changed my password, it has been locking me out 3 to 4 times a day. I had to have it un-installed. My IT department does not know what to do. Can anyone help?

Im new to gateways and I got task to report data from table on sharepoint (ver.2013 foundation).
I cannot use sharepoint list, sharepoint online list or folder option
(the url to data is too long - and those 3 options want me to supply only root of the url, from which i cant get to desired data table)
so i used web option supplying url to that data table.
Report doesnt refresh with enterprise gateway, but refreshes succesfully in desktop Power BI.

I see that in the June 2020 Update Line Charts with a continous X axis now have the ability to use markers (great news!). There is a feature at the bottom of the "Shapes" options that says "Customize series" which looks like it is trying to allow for each series to have different color markers. The issues is when I try to use this to have the markers match the color to the individual series line, it overrides it and only allows for one color, which is the original color set in the above marker settings. Can someone please assist me? I seems to be a glich unless I am misunderstanding the use for "customize series".
In the screenshot below, it does not allow for these two "Marker Colors" to be different colors. When you try to change it overrides it to the first color.

I have been going through these issues with the oracle database for a while.
1) I started to create a report using PBI Desktop and had some issues connecting to the ORA db and i followed the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VeqOMAda1o) and could create a report and the report refreshes as expected.
2) Published the report to the PBI Service and i can view the report.
Issue is the report published to service , even when i click on the refresh button. I created the datasource and tested it successfully in PBI Service.
Second issue is with the paginated report connecting to the same Oracle db

I hope everyone is very well, recently I created a report in power bi desktop to later publish it in the service, until then everything worked correctly the problem is caused by creating an embed code to make an insert in a web, but it does not appear the filter panel, how can I make the filter panel appear.

I created a bar chart with a limit line, but each bar is from a different base that I did the data modeling.
I am not finding the option to make a conditional color that if it is greater than the boundary line turns red, if it is less than the boundary line turns green.
can you help me ?
You do not have the option of conditional formatting in colors.
