I created a report in PowerBI Service but now I need to add an image to it. Since I can't add an image in the service, I downloaded the pbix file, open it in desktop, added the image, but when I publish the report it is not overwriting the existing report in the service, it just creates a new report with the same name. What can I do to overwrite the existing report?

Power Automate PBI Audit Logs
My organization is looking to automate the pull of Power BI Audit logs and the newly added Refresh Summary data from the Admin Portal. Is it possible to utilize Power Automate for this? We currently pull audit logs only through Powershell but I would like to move them to Power Automate. I have seen a few posts for Powershell but no helpful guide for Power Automate. Also, is there a better way to store this information other than .CSV files to make refreshes of our aduit report faster?

Do edits in power bi service report reflect in the desktop file?
Hi,
I am still understanding what the connection is between the Power BI desktop file and the published version in Power BI service.
If I make changes to the graphs in power BI service would those changes reflect in the Power BI desktop file that was published? Would the opposite also be true?

Parameters position in Power BI workspace
Hi Everyone,
I want to change the order of parameters in power bi workspace under Dataset > Settings > Parameters
Although I set the desired order in Power BI Desktop, but after coming into workspace, parameters automatically changed the ordering (by default set it alphabatically)
Can you please help me how I can re-order the position of parameters?

Cannot generate a token after assigning a dedicated capacity to the workspace
I've created a C#.Net application with a Power Bi Embedded report, I'm using authentication type MasterUser, I have a Power BI Pro license and have been generating tokens successfully, but now have hit the limit. I have create a dedicated Azure capacity (sku A1, Location: Canada Central) and assigned this to the workspace (diamond appears beside the workspace name) but code fails when trying to generate a token.

Subscriptions with "Parameters"
Hey guys,
I'm a little embarrassed to even ask this question. I've built a ton of reports in the past in SSRS, and know subscriptions therein very well. I have a few dozen reports and dashboards on which I'm creating subscriptions to deliver dynamic data. After googling high and low I'm not finding this concept to be very obvious!?? Here is a very simple example - you make a date range slicer (or a relative date). I'd like to create a subscription for a report that filters by a dynamic range depending on the subscription (as in "the last 3 days" or "this week").
Am I simply missing something in my lack of success on finding out how to do that? I would have thought that subscriptions would behave similarly to SSRS reports with parameters.

Scheduled Refresh with Incremental Refresh
Hi!!!
I'm already post a question about this but now I'm done many tests in different enviroments an I get the same result my scheduled refresh take 10min aprox but on deman is about 2min.
My tests:
- DDBB: MySQL & SQL Server
- For both my parameters are named "RangeStart & RangeEnd".
- The incremental setting is the following: (my data starts in March of this year until today)
NOTE: although it shows the qlert that the query folding cant be verify in the last steps the option of native query is activated.
I assume that if the on-demand efresh now takes 2 minutes and when the incremental update had not been implemented it took 10min scheduled or on-demand I understand that the configuration is working ... what I don't understand is why the scheduled updates keep taking 10 minutesss.

Hi, I am having an issue with embedding codes. Some of my embedding codes change after a while for some of my reports. I use "Publish to Web" option and use iframe code. I did not make any changes to the actual report. Thanks!

Dataflows - Google Analytics API
I use Dataflows to segment data before bringing them into my Dataset. In Desktop, I can connect to Google Analytics via the API. How can I achieve that same connection as a Dataflow? I do not see Google Analytics as an option.

Changing Custom SQL in Editor and Using Power BI Service to Refresh the Report
Hello Everyone -
Quick question as I could not find the answer to this. I have a pretty large report that feeds through Teradata tables that run through our corporate gateway.
I have made a change to the custom SQL Query hit close and apply from the editor but cancelled the refresh as it takes awhile to refresh in desktop. I Published the report to our Premium workspace thinking the schedualed refresh would take the new change and refresh it in services but it looks like it refreshed the report based on the Custom SQL.
Does the report have to refresh in desktop before publishing to POWER BI services to take the new change and auto refresh it accordingly ?
Any clarity to this would be creatly appreciated. It would save my time a lot of time if we could make the changes and just publish and have services take the new chages in whiel refreshing instead of waiting for it to refresh in desktop saving it and then Publishing.

Your Power BI session expired
Hi Microsoft Power BI team,
I'm facing this Power BI session expired alert message when I launch the Power BI embedded report URL every time, re-open the browser doesn't help. I can click 'Close' continue to use the report, but it's quite annoying for users.
I've been using the embedded report for at least half year, this popup only appear recently. Can anybody help on it ?

Refresh Failure : Attempted to read or write protected memory
Hi All,
I am facing this issue while refreshing my dataset on service.
My dataset contains - 3 sources (3 Tables from Azure SQL, 2 tables from Sharpeoint (Excel and PDF files)
I face this issue with the PDF table.
I am able to refresh this successfully using PBI Desktop but refresh fails in Service.
How do i fix this?

Unable to deploy workspaces from Development to Test in Pipeline
Hi all,
I'm trying to copy 2 reports and 2 datasets from Development to Test in the new Deployment Pipeline. When clicking Deploy to Test the new Test Wrokspace is created but the reports and datasets never move across, the wheel spins and the message "Copying the contect to this workspace" appears but nothing happens futher than that.. I have left it for over 24 hours and it still shows the same. There is never an error message and it doesn't time out.
Has anyone had this? or know why it might not be copying over?

Data refreshes for multiple domains with one gateway
Hello,
I was wondering if it would be possible to refresh datasets for multiple clients on separate Power BI domains through a single gateway on the same virtual machine. From what I have seen, it seems that you are required to have a separate gateway for each domain in order for power bi to automatically refresh the dataset, which would require the creation of multiple gateways on separate virtual machines as the gateway appears to not be able to have multiple instances on the same virtual machine.

I need to publish it on a Workspace of whom I have a admin access but I don't want other admins of the workspace to download the same report.

Personal Gateway is offline
I have a PBI report in a remote desktop. The report uses several local csv files and a local database as its data source. I published the report in PBI Service and set a personal gateway. Then I set an automatic data refresh. The report works well in Service but the automatic refresh is not working: "The last refresh attempt failed. Your Personal Gateway is offline or could not be reached. Ensure the Gateway computer is on and you are logged on to it during the scheduled refresh period."
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, so here are some of my questions:
1. Is it wrong to use a personal gateway instead of an on-premises gateway?
2. Is it wrong to keep the csv files locally in the remote desktop insted of publishing them in cloud?
3. Is it impossible to use an automatic refresh with a local database?
Or does somebody know how should I publish the report so that the automatic refresh works?
