We started creating groups (workspaces) for our enterprise BI solution. One group basically corresponds to one business process, so finance is one group and procurent another and so on.
But I just realized that groups are separate also for dashboards, so we can't create a dashboard with pinned visuals from reports that resides in different groups.
We have a scenario where for example sales should see a part of the finance reports. I had in mind that we would have a sales dashboard with some of the tiles coming from finanance.
Would it be smarter to have one group for the whole solution and work with content packs instead? But I have a feeling that it will be harder to manage given hundreds of users.
Or should we just publish the some of the finance reports to both groups (i.e. sales and finance)?
