Dataflows on Business Central fail more often the last weeks

The last two weeks we are experiencing a lot of issues in several tennants (of different customers) with refreshing dataflows (Gen 1) that retrieve data from Business Central (SaaS) via a custom API. The refreshes are scheduled at multiple times throughout the day. Seemingly randomly the refresh sometimes works and sometimes fails. The error message does not give a cause (Error: Request ID: ... Activity ID: ...). Any suggestions?
