I have connected to customer's Dynamics NAV Odata feed with PBI Desktop. The authentication was done with organizational account (different from my Power BI account) and worked well.
When I uploaded the .pbix to powerbi.com and tried to to re-enter the authentication info using oAuth2, I got the following error message:
"The OAuth authentication method isn't supported for this data source. Contact your admin."
Two questions regarding this:
1) Could someone verify that the authentication doesn't work because my Power BI account is different from the organizational account used to authenticate the Odata feed? Meaning, the authentication should work when the same work account is used in both, the Odata feed and the Powerbi.com.
2)There are other threads where users have reported that oAuth2 credentials related to powerbi.com dataset have dissappeared when the scheduled refresh has been run. Does anyone know if this is issue has been solved?
