Hi ,
I have a Power BI report published to Service and it has HTML viewer visual.
When I export it to PPT, it gives me an error "The visual does not support exporting" .
Can anyone suggest a workaround ?

Embed Power BI Report on Microsoft Teams Comments
Is it possible to see the comments, made on an Embed Power BI report on Microsft Teams, on the same report accessed throught Power BI service? And the comments made on the report throught Power BI service, is it possible to see them on the same Embed Power BI Report on Microsoft Teams? If yes, how can we allow this?

oneDrive refresh - "enter credentials for all data sources"
Hi all,
All of a sudden, my report in services won't update with the source from my onedrive when I make changes to the sources.
I get the following message:
Where am I supposed to put in the credentials? The sources is an excel file in my onedrive for business and I am logged in with my credentials both in onedrive and excel?

How to count rows in source and save count in PowerBI every week?
Hi All,
I have very basic requriment
Data Source=CSV File on orginsational portal. This file gets refreshed by other team in organistions I have no controle on this.
Problem= Every refresh overwrites previouse week counts.
Requriment=Count every week and Append existing record with new record.
My PowerQuery= After applying certian filters I need to count number rows on weekly basis and display in PowerBI report(I need to append rows on weekly basis).It is like taking snapshot of the source and appending data over the time.
Option tried
A)Incremental Refresh!!I have tried Incremental refresh because there is meaningful date column in source it is making hard. I have added today's date
B)Append!!I have also tried Append query option but everyweek it overwrites previouse week.
- C) Create history table in PowerBI and insert row everyweek.
Using power Query Table.InsertRows(from live refresh to exisiting table in PowerBI) This is not poissble either using PowerQuery you cant insert rows from another table.
I have been working as BI for last 10 years. I know this is very basic requirment in SQL Server insert into statment will do this easily for me. But I dont know how to achive this PowerBI.

Can guest users in a tenant create dataflows?
Hi,
Is it possible for guest users in a tenant to create dataflows in that tenant?
My company operates under several tenants, and we're working on creating user-friendly processes to transfer data from one tenant to another. I'm currently exploring whether it's possible to invite guest users from the other tenants to mine and have them build dataflows in my tenant under their guest ID. Those dataflows would also have to connect to on-premises sources used by each of the guest users.
I'm open to any advice, including any challenges that we'd run into with gateways and any options that could be better.

Can i see formula of a measure in a report in Power BI Service
Problem: How to see the calculation of a table or a measure in the report on Power BI Service?
Scenario - Ex Teammate published the report in 2018 and we do not have a copy of it. I need to recreate the report because I can't download it from the Power BI Service. Is there a way to see the calculations of a table or measure in a report on Power BI Service?

Single vs Multiple Dataset
Hi Expert,
in my company on PBI Service I can see tons of different workspaces with many reports, now almost all reports have a dedicated dataset.
Since there are a lot of dataset for which the original source is a single SSAS Tabular Model, I was wondering if these way of managing the workspaces is correct, what are the differences between one single Dataset as a source for many reports or one dataset for each single reports, and what pros and cons.

New hierarchy slicer when set to dropdown works fine in desktop but not on the web
New hierarchy slicer when set to dropdown works fine in desktop but not on the web. My slicer has multiple levels (Year, Qtr, Month) and is set as dropdown. This works well on PBI desktop. But on the web, the slicer appears like a list with a vertical scroll bar.

Unable to load language - Issues with online refresh

I have an online report (premium workspace) that has a scheduled refresh but is not working. Error message below

The table is a merge of 3 tables (xlsx files stored on sharepoint) making the master file. Refreshes fine on desktop version

"Shared with me" reports are grayed out.
Hello,
We have users that access their reports from the "shared with me" tab. Some reports (not all) are grayed out.
What might cause this? Nothing changed settings wise as far as we know.

How do I change the credentials for a Dataflow pulling from a SQL server behind a gateway
Hi all,
So I've got a issue. I have a dataflow which I created that pulls data from two databases in a SQL server behind a gateway. When I initially created the dataflow I didn't use one of the service accounts to connect to the server.
Now I want to change that connection credential as I'm getting errors using my own credentials as opposed to the service account but I cannot find anywhere in the dataflow that allows me to manage credentails.
I checked the dataflow settings area but under the credentials area I can't update credentials because apparently admin has granted access.
Which is strange because it was giving me an error saying I can't connect to it.
So I then tried to create a new dataflow using the basic connection and entered the service account credentials. It all loaded in the Power Query editor in Power BI service but when I go to refresh the data it's throwing the following error:
Error: Data source credentials are missing or invalid. Please update the credentials for SQL in dataflow settings and try again.
So in the end I've got 2 questions:
1. How to I update credentials for an existing Dataflow
2. If it's not possible what could be causing the refresh error for a duplicate data flow I've created with updated credentials.

Incremental refresh and a model update
Hi, I could not find from the docs how a model update should be handled? Now it seems that when the incremental refresh is applied, a new version of an existing data model replaces the old one and always starts updating from the scratch. This will cause unwanted wait time when it comes to production usage?

Not able to share a report with an external user
Hello,
Currently i am investigating the features of PwerBI and one of them is the option to share a report with an external user. I think i followed the correct steps. I don't get any error messages, but nothing is shared either.
Here is my setup. I have a PowerBI account that is part of a managed domain and part of a tenant of my company. I have a Pro license for the account. I created a second account in PowerBI and started the 60 days Pro trial. This account is part of a unmanaged domain. With this last account i uploaded an excel file and created a report on it. I then used the Share button and specified my account of the managed domain (as user i want to share the report with). I left all the options below (on the shaare dialog) checked on (sending a mail etc). I get the message that sharing has succeeded, but no message with a link is sent to the receipient. Also, when i look at the access options in PowerBI i don't see anywhere that i shared a report with the external user (other then that the owner is specified).
I first thought that i had something to do with some settings in the PowerBI Admin portal.
So i created a new account that is part of our companies development domain. This ia also a managed domain and i started the 60 days free trial. With this account i can change the settings of the Admin portal. I tried several things, but nothing seems to work.
I created a report with my managed domain account and tried to share it with the unmanaged domain account, but still no errors but no link either. What can be going wrong here?

How to connet SQL Server Analysis Services by Power BI Dataset?

I have a Power BI dataset that connect the SQL Server Analysis Services by Power BI Gateway.
When I create a report with the dataset, 'Get Data'-->'Power Platform'-->'Power BI datasets'. I can find the dataset.
When I click the 'Create' button to connect the dataset, the error appear:
the server name ,'localhost/tab14', is the VM of Azure VNET, but I can not connect the server with my home network.
Why I must connect the Analysis Services direct instead of by the Power BI Dataset?

extracting first and last entries between dates
I want to achieve the following and wondering if it is even possible with power BI
There is a database that maintains all the historic changes to various servers in the network.
I want to be able to generate a report that gives me an the from and to value for a server change between a given period. Eg Refer the table below:

| server_1 | 04-10-2019 | change_1 | change_2 |
| server_1 | 04-12-2019 | change_2 | change_3 |
| server_1 | 04-1-2020 | change_3 | change_4 |
| server_1 | 04-2-2020 | change_4 | change_5 |
If I want to see the change on server_1 in the last 4 months (or a between two dates using a filter option), the result must be:

Is this possible with any of the formula in power BI?

Displaying Power BI on a big screen at a customer with Power BI Pro
I work for a company that wants to display Power BI-reports at our customers’ own offices via TV screens. The customers’ employees and their guests can watch the reports when they pass by. The screen will be fully managed by the company I work for.
Technically, we can use a Power BI pro account to display the data. But are there any license issues with this solution?
(We cannot use “Publish to web”, due to the fact that the data must not be revealed outside the offices of our customers)

permission concept
Hi all,
We are about to rol out Power BI in our organisation. I am now trying to develope a permission concept and how to share information with everyone. Is there any best practice how to do that?
For what concerns me are the following points:
1. Having a "developing" and a "production" environment
I would like to test my updated or new developed Reports in the Service berfore putting them in production environment. Therefore i would like to use the App Workspace as "developing" stage and then publish the App (--> "production" environment").
2. As fas as i understand, i can only publish one App from a Workspace. I would like to publish several Apps. Requirement is as follows: There might be Workspace "Controlling" which has 5 Reports. Now there is Usergroup A that shall see all Reports, Usergroup B that should just see Reports 1 - 3 and Usergroup C that should see Reports 4 and 5. How can i achieve this?
3. Is working with App Workspaces or working with Apps the better way to share Reports?

Dynamically url filter Power BI live dashboard tile from Power apps
Hi all
My requirement is to integrate Power BI tiles in Power Apps. Our project is Agile in nature so report keeps getting updated and published with each sprint. I am trying to integrate BI tile using dynamic url filter option. This works absolutely fine if the BI tile is pinned as a visual(snapshot). Considering Agile nature of our project, we are looking to dynamically integrate a tile which was pinned as 'LIVE PAGE'. I am unable to filter the tile with the url filtering option.
Any suggestions would be indeed helpful
