I am trying to add an Excel file to my gateway on my Power BI Service.
Unfortunately I receive the following errorcode: DMTS_PublishDatasourceToClusterErrorCode.
This error code is not described on the troubleshootingpage being:

I am having troubles using an Oracle DB as source for PBI Reports within the service.
I did install the gateway (enterprise – not personal) successfully. In PBI-Service I could establish the connection - see screenshot:
However when opening a report I do get an error (it says something about a missing .Net Framework Dataproviders. See second screenshot:
On the gateway client PC I installed the following driver: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/windows/downloads/index-090165.html

SQL Server 2016 Analysis Services, On-premise data gateway to Power BI Service.
So I have a bunch of data sources in the Power BI Service that are pointed to SSAS cubes. I have 1 cube in particular that seems to be always giving me problems but at the same time I'm not sure if it's just something going on with the Power BI Service / Data Gateway. Right now, in both Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, I am not able to access this particular connection. However, at the very same time, I have other coworkers that are having no issues accessing it. This appears to affect different users at different times. Yesterday it was the VP of Sales while I was accessing it just fine. I'm also able to connect to the cube directly in Excel outside of Power BI just fine. The cube is functioning fine but the data connection to the cube over the On-Premise gateway seems to have a mind of its own.
Usually, if I reprocess the cube it comes back up...at least for a little while. Obviously this isn't cool. Suggestions???

It seems when I go to publish my PBIX and ribbon chart online, once I have more than 2 columns showing at once, the ribbons for the 3rd, 4th, etc columns wont appear! The funny thing is though, I can still filter my ribbon chart (online) and if I reduce the number of columns back down to two, it will then properly show ribbons between those two columns. My desktop file shows 4 columns and ribbons running between all 4 of them.
Here's what it looks like on the desktop file:

Any advice? I tried switching up some of the columns and making a new chart but no luck... Any help would be greeeeeatly appreciated and help me hit a critical deadline

I'm evaluating Power BI for my company. I see that Power BI Premium allows "48 data refreshes per day". Is that 48 per user per day or 48 per dataset per day? I ask because I have a warehouse that updates 70 workbooks once a month, all at the same time. Over the course of a month, that's pretty low usage. But is this 48 limit going to let me do the 70 all at once?

I got few question regading the Adobe Analytics data connection in PowreBI. There are:
1. I found only basic metrics connect with PowerBI web version, if I want to see more metrics (eVar, Event & Prop), do there anyway to call it?
2. I only can see up to 7 days data shown, if I want to get more to that, do there anyway to get it?
Appreciate if anyone can answer my questions.
Can I publish to Web for Phone and Desktop ?
I publish some reports to Web for sharing with friends/customers/partners.
I hope to viewing phone layout reports on their phone.

Hello, Please see below image. I am able to see the Gateway is online and in Power Bi version under Manage Gateways, I can see that "Online". But, when I try to refresh it/Auto schedule any dashboard. I am getting this message " Your data gateway (personal mode) is offline. To set refresh scheduling, make sure your gateway is online."
1. Please note, I was able to refresh/Auto schedule the report untill yesterday.
2. I referred trouble shooting article, the Pbi service is running fine.
Can any one please help me.

Ich created a Dashboard with different Tiles. The Tiles a linked ot a second Layer of Dashboards.
(f.e. Value of Production YTD to a dashboard with the Data of the different factories)
The Links are working just fine in Web View but in Mobile View only the Links of the Dashboard Tiles on the Top are working.
If you scroll Down in Mobile View the Links aren't working anymore.

In Dynamics 365 I have connected a Power BI dashboard (Workplace --> Dashboards --> New Power BI Dashboard) but there seems to be an issue: The slicers included in the dashboard do not work, so all I get is a static representation where all I can interact with are other visualizations.
Once I click on the dashboard so it opens in a pop-up window or back in app.powerbi.com the slicers work as intended. However, they do not work within Dynamics 365 which is a bit annoying because it hinders how all our CRM users can take advantage of combining usage of the dashboard with usage of the CRM.
Is there a solution to this issue? Or is there something I am doing wrong that I need to fix for slicers to work?

Hi,
I have created a workspace and am an admin in the workspace. I published the app as well but am not able to install the app.
All the settings are corrected and I am able to see the app in my organization app list, but when i select "Get it now" I get this error.
Weird thing is, the other users I have given access to the app are able to install it with no issues.
I have tried signing out an loggin back in as well as tried it on different computers with no luck.
Any ideas or help on this?

We have group A (internal stakeholders) and group B (external). Right now, we have two reports that we want to share with both A and B, and multiple reports that are just for group A.
Now, we have created two apps, one for each group. So far, so good.
The problem is that each of the two reports need to be published twice, once for group A and once for group B. Moreover, the data refresh doubles in time and effort and our SAP BW system lacks the resources (in terms of time) for this. Ideally, we would refresh the dataset just once so that both versions are updated.
Is there a solid work-around for this? I can't imagine that I am the only one with this challenge.

When I transfer my data to Power BI apps, the decimals are not being maintained the way it should be. Power BI app shows the number as multiplied by 100 automatically. For instance:
0.06 actually shows as 6.00
Similarely 123.45 shows 12345.00
Does anyone knows about this issue?

According to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-create-distribute-apps, I should be able to specify what items in my group workspace will be published in an app
But in my app workspace I only have the Name, Actions and Owner columns. If I try Publish App, everything will be included.
I am an admin on the workspace.
What am I missing to be able to select the elements individually?

I have an external party sending a report which used to work just fine, but today clicking on the link, all i see is the "Ask a question about your data" input box, no dashboard, tiles etc.
However my collegue who is also in the same organisation as me has no issues seeing the report.

Is anyone else having issues with data loading into Power BI from Azure SQL Database. I keep on receiving the box with an error saying "Resources Exceeded" in both desktop and service environments. This is only effecting my dashboards that are connected to Azure SQL Database but not any of my dashboards connected on-prem.
I should also mention the views that the visuals are pulling from is only one row of data.
Any assistance/advice is much appreciated as this is a live dashboard visible to our executives.
