In a shared workspace between two people, this is what I see.
Why doesn't it stop at 10 GB and continue letting me publish?

When I click the refresh button in Power BI service to refresh the report nothing happens and it didn't start the refresh so I removed the report from workspace and refreshed it in PBI desktop and republished it.Then refresh is started working fine.I was facing this issue for one report during busy window in the morning where several other semantic models run concurrently but I was able start refresh for other reports in the same workspace and in other workspace as well but for this one particular report refresh was not working when I tried to start.And scheduled refresh of that report had taken more time than usual on that day morning before I tried to start manual refresh

when this above highlighted line executes it throw error because Model property is always null, I tried to create multiple reports and published on power bi service but no luck on those as well.

I have a hybrid model DQ/Import with a large fact table that is in Direct Query for the data source I'm using databricks SQL warehouse.
I've created aggregation tables and configured the aggregations to respond to the most used query patterns and it's working well. But even if a report doesn't need to go to DQ I still see queries in databricks like:
Listing cross references
Listing primary keys
Listing columns 'catalog: ...
That are taking time and slowing the report.
One other major issue is queries that go to DQ that take ~20seg or less to run and return only few rows are causing an increase in the CU% and sometimes cause throttling.
Why are DQ queries consuming so much capacity units and what are those "Listing..." queries? Is there a way to improve this behaviour?
This way it's not possible for the report to be used by multiple users.

One of my user is having a problem from the error of dashboard lost details from the below table as per insert picture. She's just got this error this monday. We've checked from her laptop with the basic solution such as clearing all filter, clear cache, change the web browser and even re-publish the new version of this dashboard every morning since then. Unfortunately, it still exists only to her user.
please help for this case. I also inserted the normal case from other users for your information. thanks for your assistance in advance.

We have a connector that gets data from our server, and have RangeStart and RangeEnd and pagination support - All works great.
But, one of the column in the data has value which is a list of objects that are in this structure: [{"key": "column 1", "value": "value 1"}, {"key": "column 2", "value": "value 2"]
and we wish to flatten this list of object based on the keys.
each key - is a column. each value - will be its value in that row.
in the code - I've Pivoted this column successfully. and on Power BI Desktop - all works great.
but for each rows it can have different values for the key - so the columns at each page can be different.
so this is a legal options:
[{ "ID": 1, list: [{"key": "column 1", "value": "value 1"}, {"key": "column 2", "value": "value 2"]}, ... (several pages)

there could be many pages, many rows, severals columns names for each object (not only 2) could be none, and values can be nullables
as a result in the power desktop - when I refresh the model - the keys displays as columns - works great.
But- when I tried to set Incremental Refresh and publish it to Power BI Cloud - on first page there was an error say something like "The 'column 35' column does not exist in the rowset."
I guess this is something relate to the Folding requirement of the Incremental Refresh.
because Columns in the first page can be different then in the second one or in the page number 100... and the Power BI Incremental Refresh mechanism doesn't just "Add column" and append the data according to the name.
in Power BI Desktop it does.
What can I do? how can I Pivot the list in the connector code so our customer will easier get the data as a regular column and not need to make thier own manipulation like: Pivoting / Expanding ?

I have a Power BI report A which has a cross report drill through to report B (via Account No.), from report B, have another cross report drill through to report C (via Emp Id). All works fine.
When I go from report A with Account No = 1 and drill through to report B, its filtered on Account No = 1 in report B, then I select Emp Id 123 on Report B and drill through to report C, its filtered on Emp Id 123 on report C.
When I click on back on the IE browser, it goes to report B but loses the filter for Account No = 1 and since its a direct query with millions of records it times out. I can click back twice when I am on report C on the IE browser, but doing this is not user friendly. I also tried to create a "back" button on report C and copy the url for report A but opens up a new browser window and takes me out of Power BI App.
Is there a solution for this instead of having user click on back twice?

We have created a report from a source which is outside our tenant, using a shared semantic model ('From external orgs'). When we try to acces the Usage Metrics Report, we can't find it, it is not available. But we can view usage metrics from reports that are built using semantic models from our own tenant.
Is it possible to acces this Usage Metrics when we use a semantic model that is outside our tenant? Do we need to change some configurations in Portal Admin?

I have a PBIP that is pulling in data from snowflake, I have deployed this report to the web multiple times recently while I was deploying this to the web I got an error that said : "Backend ErrorOther AS persistency error" . From a bit of googling I was able to figure out that this was an issue with the Analytic Service running under the hood of PowerBI. This is why I tried deleting and redeploying the model. But this has not resolved the issue. It is to be noted that the report works fine in the desktop app its just the deployment that fails. Also to be noted is that I am using parameters to switch between test and prod databases in the report.
Any help would be appreciated.

We have a Power BI report connected to 2 SQL views in the same database. When publishing through the data gateway, we'd like 1 connection to connect with stored credentials and the other connection to use Kerberos and authenticate as the logged in user. However, since they both have the same server/database name, we can only choose one connection method. Can anyone think of how to accomplish this?

I'm testing Power BI deployment pipeline integrated Git and that works fine. However, if I do create a pull request in Azure DevOps the PBI deployment service does not recognize previous changes. It's pretty much the same, but instead of use Deploy button I did push all changes via Azure PR. It there anything that may I do to fix that?

I want to use the "Subscribe to Report" feature inside of the Power BI Service to set up a recurring automated email, containing a pdf attachment of a given dashboard (all pages of the dashboard included), to be sent to all my end users.
All of my endusers, including myself have the Power BI Pro license.
I noticed that when I attempt to use the PDF feature, I received a message that said "Upgrade to Power BI Premium to attach the Report".
Does this mean that only I need a Premium license or do all of my end users need this license to receive the full PDF copy of the entire (all pages) dashboard?
Also, which Premium License is required? Is it Power Bi Premium Per User (PPPU) or Power BI Embedded?

I just created a new dashboard, and I am fairly new to PowerBI. I've yet been able to get the dashboard to update with refreshes nor manually. I created this dashboard on PowerBI desktop and then published it. The dataset was setup via the "Web" link option.
Method 1 (preferred):
I tried setting up the Power Automate flow called "Update PowerBI data when a SharePoint file is updated. However, I'm on the last step of the flow and no dataset appears? how do I go about making the SharePoint file a dataset? I tried hitting create>excel (preview)>filepath> fails to verify credentials every time.
Method 2:
I've also tried just setting a refresh schedule on the semantic model for my dashboard, but it seems I keep running into credential problems. I'm at a lost right, looking for any suggestions or guidance!

Lately any changes that I make on my desktop report are not carrying through to the report on the service.
The model is being updated with the changes and the new measures that I'm creating, however, the new columns that I created in the matrix visuals etc are not showing up in the report.
I have a feeling that it has to do with the fact that I was asked to rename my report to something else so I changed it to the new name under the report settings.
How can I get my desktop report to 'connect' to the service version again?
