im trying to export data from power bi into excel and its losing the formatting ? is there a way of exporting a part of a report and it keeps its formatting. Can i add images to these posts to assist.

Duplicating data when sorting a column in Table or Matrix
We have SSAS Tabular
There was a problem when sorting the columns, on screen 1 I sort the data on the Value 3 column. Also it is visible that on 4 line in 4 column at us value 638,999.
638,999 / 2 = 319,499

When I sort by column 4, the value of this line is changed to 319,499. Which is in fact the correct one
The same happens if you sort by other columns.
On screen 3, I sorted the data from column 2 and filtered the line, in column 4 we have a value of 638.99, although its actual value of 319,499 which I output in the card

The data in the column changes simply because of the sorting column, why this happens. Based on these data, we make business decisions on a daily basis. But the data due to this bug is distorted in the table, which affected the wrong decision and we suffered a loss, and even fired several people.

Power BI Dashboard with Navigation
Hello Power BI community
I'm a beginner and I'm creating a POC for Power BI functionalities where in I have to create a dashboard in the form of a table as below-
And if you click on Market level measures(1st column) it should navigate to a different report related to Market level measures. So on and so forth for other objects in the table
Now in the second column if I click on Market NPS it should navigate to its own respective report.( same for other objects in the same column.
The third column has a trend line. 5th column is just a status (red /green)
The last column is some text.
Please let me know if this can be done in Power BI.

Unable to access admin Portal in power bi service
Hi,
I am using pro trail version, unable to access admin portal. Got some info as office 365 global admin has to provide admin access for power BI user. If so, office 365 adminstrator can provide power bi admin access to all power bi users accross organization?.
What is the cost of office 365 Global admin per month? which type of account is having global admin(ex: office 365 business, office 365 business premium....etc)?.

Problem when publishing in Sway
Hello, I had some reports in Sway that we inserted using the publish to web option, but our tenant admins had recently disabled this functionality. Is there any way to insert a Power BI report in Sway using other option. We're trying the new Sharepoint online option that also generates a url but is not working.

[Possible bug?] Treemap doesn't clear when make a filter that result no rows
Example of what happens:
There is two filters, A and B . IF I filter the treemap with A and have rows to show, its view will be ok. follow this step: if I change to filter B and it results a empty table, the look won't change, will freeze on A content. The correct would be empty the content.

URL Filter not working
I haven't been able to get the Filtered URL feature on my dashboard to work. I believe I followed all the steps. While the column to be filtered on (PartID) contained numbers, I changed it into a Text format.
I published this report, made a dashboard of the page I want and tried to access that dashboard with filters using the following URL:
https://app.powerbi.com/groups//dashboards/[dashboard code]?filter=Combined/PartID eq '1'
Using this URL (which translates to https://app.powerbi.com/groups//dashboards/[dashboard code]?filter=Combined%2FPartID%20eq%20%271%27 ) does open the dashboard, but seemingly without any filtering applied.
The linegraph plots temperature vs time with PartID used as Legend. I expect to see only one line, from PartID=1, but they;re all shown. The Maximum and Average temperature are also based on data from all PartID's.
If someone could tell me what I'm missing here, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Schedule Refresh issue - connecting to Sharepoint Online list, OAuth2 not working
Good day.
I am having a problem in configuring Scheduled Refresh on my PowerBI report.
I have created the report in PowerBI Desktop, in which my data source is a Sharepoint Online List. I am a member of the Site Owners group of that site where the lists resides. I have published that report to PowerBI Web and was able to view the report and publish / import it into my sharepoint page.
However, i am getting a problem when i configure the Data Source Credentials for the Scheduled refresh setting.
So when i select OAuth2, it prompts me to authenticate my account, which is already signed in.
But after selecting my account, i get this error.
I read a similar question wherein someone got it working in Edge Browser, but for me it is not working. I tried Edge, IE 11 and Google chrome but no success.
Is this a concurrent issue..? is this issue still ongoing..?
Hope anyone can help me on this.

Dynamic Filtering not working with new table visualization
I have a dynamic filter on a table that link to a different report. When I changed the table to the new table visual the links go to the correct report but do not filter even though the filter data is passed into the url correctly. Anyone else having this issue? I was able to validate this as the root cause by using an older version of the file with everything else the same except for the visual type was the old static table.

Refresh delay optimisation tips anyone ?
Hi guys,
I'm using a few Power BI reports using date files updated from Sharepoint & One Drive.
I've noticed that my report refresh delay on Power BI Desktop is about 2 minutes but is 20 or 25 minutes when loaded to the Power BI online service.
Do you have any tips to reduce this delay ? Thanks

Jira Content Pack Reads (timespent) as String value, Not Numerical
I am new at POWER BI and am not an advanced programmer. I used the Jira Content Pack and successfully connected to my Jira Cloud instance and was able to see and build a whole bunch of cool reports and dashboards with success.
However, I ran into one issue with (timespent), which is a standard field in the Jira dataset and contains a number representing how much time has been logged on an issue. It does not seem to calculate correctly in any of the Power BI visuals I create. Cumulative visuals that should add the values from the timespent field, automatically assume that I want to "Count" and does not treat the data as numerical.
My goal is to create a pie chart that shows total time spent by the type of Jira issue.
Having looked in the forum and found something about data types, I tried to use Power BI Desktop. I downloaded the application and used the Power BI Desktop connector to connect to the Jira dataset I had in Power BI. Then I tried to create a new table but could not. I also can't create a new Query. I can't edit any of the existing items in my Jira dataset either, so I can't change the data type of (timespent). The last thing I tried was to create a new Measure using DAX in PowerBI Destop to SUM the data together, but I couldn't use SUM on (timespent) because the error said:
Couldn't load the data for this visual
The report measure 'GetIssues'[Measure] has a syntx or semantic error... The function of SUM cannot work with values of type String.
The strange thing is that when I look at all of the data in (timespent), it is all numbers. I have tried the same with other seeming numerical data type fields in the Jira Content Pack like (progress.total) and others. They all yield the same error.
So my questions are:
1. Does anyone know why in the Jira Content Pack the standard field (timespent) and similar time collection data fields come in as a string and not numerical data?
2. Does anyone know how I can change the data type easily so that I can create a dashboard visual that calculates the respective values rather than "counting" them?
3. When/where does this data type get set? Is it the Connector, the Power BI software, or the Jira data that is responsible for that?
