Due to some organizational complications, I have a report that has to be created by another user. That other user is also me, just a second fake account. I need to pin parts of that report to a dashboard that I manage from my regular account, so I published the report as a content pack from fakekhorseman. Now every time I make a change to the report or its dashboard or whatever, I see a message from my khorseman account that says "A new version of the "Blah Blah Report" Content Pack is available" across the top of my screen. The actual content of the report isn't updated to look like the new version, and I don't see any button for "OK, give me the new version you keep telling me about." There's just a X button to dismiss the "New Version Available" message. How do I update to the new version? The best I've managed to figure out is to delete everything from my khorseman account, the dataset, the dashboard, the report, and then re-share the content pack from fakekhorseman, then refresh my browser as khorseman. That's crazy and can't be right. Going to View Content Pack as fakekhorseman, hitting Edit and Update seems to do nothing for khorseman, so that can't be right either. Better yet, how do I just always have the new version that's already shared with me without having to update in the first place because that's annoying?
Bonus question that would make all of that moot: as a single user I can pin stuff from multiple reports to the same dashboard. Is there some way that two users can both pin stuff to the same shared dashboard? These reports have to be created by two separate users, but content from them has to end up on a single dashboard. Sharing a content pack and creating a dashboard with mixed visuals from both the other account's content pack and other reports is the best I can think of.
