Hello All,
I am trying to connect the Microsoft prebuilt Finance App for Business Central to our company's data. We have tried numerous times already and every time it fails.
In the past we had a G/L error, so we reclassified our G/L accounts to match the prerequisites for the Power BI Finance App.
Now, there seems to be a time out issue that is occurring. We received the following errors in the respective order:
- Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation.. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: G/L Entries.
- The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support.

What needs to be done in our system set up to successfully connect our data to the Power BI Finance app for Business Central?
We have successfully connected to the Sales and Inventory Valuation Apps, but we just can't seem to get the Finance App right.
