Hello,
For power bi we use a F64 fabric license. With this license our users dont need a pro license to view reports in the service.
We are using b2b invites in our tenant for external users to view the reports.
There is a requirment for these guest users to share there personal bookmarks with other guest users.
When we where using PPU licences we used to 'share' the report and choose 'copy link' to generate a link containing the report filters.
But free users cant use this feature in a F64 license, i dont know if it is possible in a premium capacity (perhaps some one with a P1 license can test this for me?)
So to share the link im trying to use 'Chat in Teams' function this opens a window with a link in it.
But this link does not contain the tenant id (ctid).
When i copy the ctid manualy into the link it works fine.
Is this a bug, or intended?
Or is there a other way for my guest users with a free account in a F64 fabric capcitiy to share there personal bookmarks / active filters.
example url from browser bar:
app.powerbi.com/groups/44738df4-eaa9-488c-b166-XXXXXXXXXXXX/reports/1264c570-92da-490c-91a6-XXXXXXXXXXXX/ReportSection03c17af7194e0c69c724?ctid=de16de14-77e4-4f98-971d-XXXXXXXXXXXX&language=en-US&experience=power-bi
Then the chat in teams function:
app.powerbi.com/groups/44738df4-eaa9-488c-b166-XXXXXXXXXXXX/reports/1264c570-92da-490c-91a6-XXXXXXXXXXXX/ReportSection03c17af7194e0c69c724?action=OpenReport&pbi_source=ChatInTeams&bookmarkGuid=8253f45f-24b7-4738-aa1e-fd43f708e050
this one is missint the ctid=de16de14-77e4-4f98-971d-XXXXXXXXXXXX in the query string.
when i manualy add the ctid key to the query string it works fine.
Regards,
Bart Poelert
