At my company we have a policy regarding autorisation management.
We use AAD security groups for course grained rights (access to application/global role, for example administrator or reporter) and App Roles for fine grained rights (access to certain reports within the application).
Our powerBI team now reports that powerBI cannot use app roles. This would mean we have to create AAD security groups for every report/data access within the application.
Since we will have multiple thousand of reports, we don't want to create as many security groups.
What is best practice in powerBI to set-up course grained and fine grained rights?
