Hi,
I am using Power Bi Pro account and scheduled the reports dataset for refreshing on daily basis(On prem data source).
Currently i am using the Personal Gateway for Schedule refresh which is installed in a Virtual Machine wherein it is up and running 24/7.
The schedule refresh works fine but at times throws error as below though the Gateway service is running.
and the Gateway Connection shows OFFLINE in Power BI service.
Processing error: Your Personal Gateway is offline or could not be reached. Ensure the gateway computer is on during the scheduled refresh period.

Hence the data refresh fails.
But Once i restart the service again the Gateway connection shows ONLINE.
Also, i am using the latest Power Bi Desktop & Personal Gateway.
