Recently I build a report by Power BI desktop to connection CRM 2016 IFD. From TechNet, it led me created data connection by OData via organizational account credential login. It is working.
However after I created and published the report to Power BI service, I need to setup data gateway to update date. After the data gateway installed, I found the data source credential for the dataset didn't have the option for organizational account login. I tried window and base login, none of them worked. Can someone help me?
Anyway, I can't understand why we can't create OData query from Power BI Service, since the CRM IFD can be accessed via the internet. If we have to use Power BI desktop for it, we should have the same credential options with Power BI desktop has.
