MySQL POINT type is treated incorrectly

I have a field in my MySQL table that is a POINT type (has lat, lon data in it).  Power BI thinks its a "Binary" type.  Currently it's unreadable.  I'd like to use the lat/lon inside of this field for a geo map.  Any tips?
