We have an office365 sharepoint instance and a business onedrive. I have a very basic Excel sheet that is being manually updated, no data links, with information I want to use in a powerbi dashboard.
I have tried to test the spreadsheet with onedrive and sharepoint. Locally using Power BI Desktop I can connect to both datasources fine.
When I publish to powerbi on the web I cannot get the datasets to refresh I get an error and when I try to Edit Credentials it says Failed to update source credentials. I can connect if on the web I go to get dataset and go and get data that way.
It makes no difference if I connect to a onedrive file or sharepoint office365 file I get the same result. Is it possible to schedule refreshes of an pbix with a connection to office 365 sharepoint or onedrive business when the connection is uploaded via the pbix?
