MY PROBLEM:
Running gateway on computer with different Windows user then is attached to Power BI account.
REGRESSION:
In older versions still, personal gateway Login asked my windows username (NOT only EMAIL).
WHEN:
I login with my Power BI user, login goes in OK (or so it seems).
- In older versions, after this dialog, the Wizard ALSO asked my short windows username, NOT only EMAIL.
END RESULT:
- Everything with Windows authentication seems to fail now in December 2019 version (updated desktop and gateway)
- Tried reinstalling gateway half dozen times
- Logged into gateway 20+ times, it never asks username no more, just e-mail/azure account.
