We run into an issue every now an again where a report refresh is turned off and no email notifications are sent out. The report in question did not error multiple times in a row and was being used (heavily) by our users. One day it had to be manually refreshed due to background data, and after that at some point PBI decided to stop refreshing it without warning. The user that manually refreshed was an admin of the workspace but not the report "owner".
This has happened several times, but not with the exact same circumstances. We cannot figure out why this would happen as each instance is different.
What is PBI doing to resolve this issue and is it even a known issue or something that is being tracked?
