Hello everyone,
When trying to refresh my dataset inside of my application in Power BI Service I get the following error:
I have 5 data sources that are excel files that my Power BI Desktop file references for visualizations. All sources are stored in SharePoint.
Our goal is to manually refresh as little as possible. I could be wrong but the assumptions I've made after reading into the differences in refreshes is that since my Desktop file is saved in Sharepoint, as well as the data sources that it references that it will automatically update every hour or so within the online service. I didn't set up a gateway because from what I've read on-premise gateways are used to refresh data that isn't stored in the cloud.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I've tried to teach myself all of this over the past 2 months and am still trying to learn.
